Help us revive an ancient Whitsun tradition!

During Covid, Trefnant Church revived the ancient tradition of a Whit Walk as we individually placed flowers on the Memorial Gates by the Football Field.

This has now grown into a traditional Whit Walk or Procession from the Church down to the Memorial Gates which we decorate with flowers before sharing a Picnic together.

Last year the weather was a ‘little’ windy so this year we have the use of the Village Hall so we can enjoy the day rain or shine.

We would love you to join us. You are welcome for all or part of the day. There is a short informal service at 11:15 in the church, then at about 12pm we will process down to the Memorial Gates to decorate them. Then at about 12:15 we will share a picnic together. There will be crafts and activities for children to help keep them entertained.

Bring your children, grandchildren, and a picnic, and engage in a bit of village life nostalgia.
